WHAT ARE BIO-IDENTICAL HORMONES ?
Bio-Identical hormones have the same chemical structure as hormones that are made by the human body. They are derived from plant sources (yams or soy), yet they are identical in chemical structure to the hormones produced by the human body.
Synthetic "conventional" hormones, such as Premarin or PremPro, have been chemically altered and therefore are not identical to the hormones found in the human body. The stucture of these hormones may be responsible for the side effects that are experienced when using "conventional" synthetiic hormone replacement therapy.

If you choose to consult with one of these practitioners, Pioneer Health Compounding Pharmacy would remain an integral part of your hormone balancing team. Pain Assessment-We are now doing fee-based pain consultations by appointment to assess more complex cases of pain management. We can then make recommendations for therapy to your healthcare practitioner. We schedule follow-up every 5-10 days until you are pain free. Consultations can be done over the phone or in person.
